In the same period of time, 3 tapes were made and sent to the late Dave "Funken" Klein, back then head of Hollywood BASIC. In 2025, DJ Shadow would retrieve those tapes.

About 60 of those tapes were handed by Shadow to prospective MCs as a kind of portfolio, it contains unreleased instrumental tracks and alternate mixes.
